Dr. Fara Bass is a compassionate and personable podiatrist at New York Community Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the Academy Pain Management. She is also board-qualified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Since 1994, she has been an associate in private practice with Dr. Elliot Bass in Brooklyn. Their family-owned practice has been serving the community over 40 years. Currently available Tuesdays, Fridays and one Saturday a month for scheduling.
Dr. Bass is specially trained in ankle arthroscopy, endoscopic surgery, laser foot surgery, and advanced cardiac life support.
A graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, she was a member of the Podiatric Honor Society. Her post-graduate work includes serving as chief resident at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System/Yale School of Medicine Clinical Campus in West Haven.
She is active in a number of professional organizations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association.
