Be prepared to wait for your appointment but he spends a lot of time with his patients and is knowledgable for rheumatology.

Doesn't use a lot of huge words because he knows them but want to make sure the pt understand what's going on.

This doctor is extremely knowledgeable compassionate and very thorough . This might explain why wait times maybe longer than normal but it's worth the wait.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Huppert. I’ve been to other doctors who are always in a rush. Dr. Huppert sits down and wants to know every detail and wants to answer any questions you have thoroughly. He’s very personable and very kind. By far one of the best doctor experiences I’ve had.
Excellent doctor. Had to wait a bit before appointment but was warned ahead of time and doctor spent considerable time with me. Great bedside manner.

Dr. Huppert is a great doctor, but make sure you have plenty of time when you go there because the wait time is very long. He takes a lot of time with each patient and it ends up carrying into the next patient’s time slot. The office is also hard to reach as they rarely pick up the phone. Prior Authorizations and lab test follow ups are poorly handled by office staff. The only plus side is it’s easy to get an appointment unlike other rheumatologists in the philadelphia area
Very thorough
He was informative, but not really helpfu. As a new patient, my wait time was much longer than I expectef3. Even by my bedside, he was still taking care of business for another patient. The visit gave me some clues to my body issues, but I'm not sure if he will be my regular Dr. Based on my visit. I do intend on going to the follow up appt before making my final decision.
Dr Huppert is an extremely intelligent doctor. He reminded me of my pediatrician. He took time to pin point and EXPLAIN my condition and most of all, he is not passive. His staff are had workers , courteous and personable. I appreciate all the time they have spent in making me feel more like a person , than a problem!

Great staff, nurses and assistants. Nice doctor as well. One big problem, zocdoc was not synchronized with their schedules. They cancelled my original appointment from 11am to 2 pm, then I show up and I was not in the system and the doctor made me wait for 3 hours.

Terribly long wait which according to everyone there is always a problem. Doesn't acept credit or debit card for copay , and never followed up with blood tests he was supposed to order but ddotn have time to write prescription for because he was running so far behind.
Great visit!
While this was my first visit, and believe future visits will either build or detract from my opinion, ....Dr Huppert was professional, listened well, and offered his opinion along with treatment options, as well as followup with bloodwork, X-rays , etc. While the office itself is Spartan and not so welcoming, Ms Jones and Dr Huppert were friendly and personable-it was readily apparent that they develop relationships with their patients, which, when you aren't feeling 100%, means a lot. This was the first time I ever chose a medical professional with Zocdoc, and working in the healthcare industry myself, I was glad to have found Dr Huppert! I truly appreciated his thorough insight, his down to earth realism, and compassion.

i had to come back next day because i waited more than 3 hrs to see dr and still never saw him i just think that when you make an appointment for a certain time you should be seen not three hours later

Great bedside manner
I was very pleased with Dr. Hubbert. So, here's the thing, are you more concerned with a short wait time or that the dr. spends an adequate amount of time with you addressing your issues? If that latter is true, then I believe you will be pleased with your experience with Dr. Hubbert. I waited about 45 mins, but Dr. Hubbert was very caring, compassionate and patient getting my history and giving me his opinion. He seemed very knowledgeable, but practical. The wait was a little disappointing, but Dr. Hubbert made up for it, and I would go back.
Love the new office location on the first floor. No more waiting for the elevator Very pleasant waiting room overlooking Broad Street. Large lobby prior to entering office allows patients to get out of the weather quickly. (especially important to my slow arthritic body). Big bright sunny upgrade! Bravo!

Dr and office staff were pleasant. The wait time was brutal though. Dr Hubert seems to know his stuff but he's overbooked and overworked. The office could be managed better. The doctor could manage his appointments better
I thought my visit went well. The Dr was very personable. He took the time to listen and explain. I am looking forward to my next visit. I no longer feel like a guinea pig. Wish I could have found this dr sooner.

i found him to be very nice, and caring, the only thing i didn't like was my wait time it was almost an hour, i think he needs to be very mindful but he did apoligze

Dr. Huppert is the most caring doctor I've met in a long time. He takes his time, gives his full awareness to your health issues, and is very, very knowledgeable. The wait to see him at the office is a little long, but he's only late because of his meticulous care and concern for each patient. He's also fluent in Polish, if that is a need of yours. And very helpful to know- if you need a steroid shot, he does it! Previously, when I needed an injection I'd have to go to the pain management doctor or to an orthopedist.

This was my first visit had a short wait but well worth it. Dr. Huppert took his time to listen to everything I said. He gathered a lot of data asked a lot of questions. He was very thorough and kind. I would recommend him.

This office is a nightmare. People in the waiting room said they had been waiting over 2 hours, the office itself was falling apart, and the doctor was speaking to patients about their treatment in the waiting room in front of everyone. I also heard him yelling at a patient in the back who was upset that she had to pay for 2 hours of parking on top of her (in cash only) co-pay. I was waiting for over an hour and didn't see a single person taken from the waiting room. Total nightmare.

My visit with Dr Huppert went well. He seems genuinely concerned about his patients and even recommends other doctors if he thinks there is a medical condition that needs addressing. My appointment was for 2:00pm and he saw me around 2:45pm and I was out of his office a little before 4:00pm.
Verified patient
Very good, he took the time to both ask and answer questions, even printed out a paper of info about my condition. Very nice.
Verified patient
My visit covered all of the issues that I was having for the past month. We discuss facts and solutions that would benefit me as a patient.
Best I ever had.
