More about Dr. Arthur Segall, DPM
Dr. Segall attended undergraduate school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and upon graduation,
attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida where he received his Doctorate in
Podiatric Medicine. Afterwards he completed an Internship/Residency at Hialeah and Palmetto Hospital in Hialeah,
Florida. Dr. Segall was then awarded an AO orthopedic fellowship in foot & ankle trauma and reconstructive surgery,
which he completed in Liestal, Switzerland. Upon returning, he took an associate position with Orthopaedic Associates, in
Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties, Florida, heading their foot and ankle center. Ten years later, Dr. Segall, as its
President and CEO, opened Advanced Foot & Ankle Center of Weston with offices in Broward and Dade Counties. Dr
Segall’s practice deals with both professionals and weekend warriors involved in work and sports related injuries. Dr.
Segall’s goals are to return each patient to their normal and usual activities more quickly and safely and at the same time
educate the patient on ways to decrease the chances of re-injury. Dr Segall does numerous in-service lectures for many of
the local hospitals, community organizations and insurance companies in hopes to prevent injuries before they occur as
well as what to expect when treating most foot and ankle injuries. Dr. Segall is board certified in foot and ankle surgery
and foot and ankle orthopedics. Also, Dr. Segall is a nationally certified wound care specialist who deals with a large
acute and chronic wound care population.
While maintaining his medical practice, Dr. Segall remains very active as an adjunct professor at Barry University
School of Podiatric Medicine as well as a clinical instructor at Westside Regional Hospital
