Personable. Knew his stuff. His staff is polite and personable, too. I didn't wait very long. I am looking forward to the follow up.
I liked that he isn't quick to prescribe medications. Or jump on a trendy diagnosis. As a medical professional, myself, I know that most ailments are usually just a reaction to maltreatment to the body. (And this both validates and counters the negative comments that I read... most people want a sensational diagnosis and lots of flair, but most medical care is really simple unless you are truly, truly ill.)
He's a good listener, but systematic. Which reassured me that he was crossing things off a mental list.
It was a comforting visit. I hope I don't have to go back (meaning we've nipped this in the bud).

I came to the doctors office as a consultation for my stomach issues and the staff was rude, my appointment was at 945am and I saw the doctor at 1pm!
the doctor also gave me a hard time over what i filled out on zocdoc, I am not a doctor and i go by what my previous doctors have diagnosed me with.
I went to this doctor because of the reviews but those people that gave an ok review got lucky, me not so much.

Dr. Vogelman was extremely combative and argumentative with me as his patient. He would not let me explain myself thoroughly and insisted I had used medication that I absolutely did not. His office was also a mess, crowded with paper and files which made the consultation feel uncomfortable.

Not very helpful, and was quick to dismiss topics in a very rude way that "were not his field" which made me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy to try to discuss other topics that "may or may not be his field" who knows what he even does.

Although I did have to fill in all my personal information at the front desk because they didn't have access to the check-in information from ZocDoc, the actual consultation was very informative and practical. The doctor took my concerns seriously and ordered the appropriate tests, and I will definitely remain a patient.

Dr. Vogelman was very thorough and helpful while walking me through treatment options. His bedside manner is direct, but not scary. He is good at explaining symptoms and ways to help yourself get better. I got to the office early and was actually in and out before my scheduled time, which was great!
