Dr. Nathan takes time to listen to you and asks questions to understand your situation. Does not jump to conclusions like some others I have seen before. She even provided me with better information than my orthopedist provided, regarding a knee pain I complained about - i.e. in the field my orthopedist specialized in! I like the fact that Dr. Nathan does not rush you into medication, as a lot of illnesses can be treated by proper diet and exercise, without the side effects of the medicines. She is knowledgeable and patient. I would recommend her highly.

It was such a pleasure meeting with Dr.Nathan. I didn't feel rush. She took the time to get to know me. So pleasant and nice. The front desk lady was also really professional and nice.

While receiving her training at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, she served as a Chief Resident in the Department of Medicine. She has won a number of awards for her work in medicine, including the John H. Mulholland Research Award for Outstanding Research.
After her training, she worked in a private practice where she oversaw patient care at Shady Grove Adventist and Suburban Hospitals. She started her own Primary Care practice in 2001 focusing on management of chronic complex medical conditions in adults. In 2007, she joined Wellness Medical Center as managing partner where she focuses on primary care serving patients from Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. She also maintains active privileges at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda.
