Dr. Ashley O’Reilly graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carleton College in 2003 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 2009. Dr. O’Reilly went on to complete her Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While at Mayo, she served as the resident representative on the Otolaryngology Education committee.
Dr. O’Reilly’s professional expertise includes adult and pediatric general otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, disorders of the salivary glands, and endoscopic nasal and sinus surgery.
Dr. O’Reilly is an avid runner, having completed 13 marathons. She spent part of her childhood in Europe, and more recently lived in Southeast Asia for 6 months, both of which helped kindle her deep love of travel. She enjoys spending time with her husband,

Dr. O'Reilly was so knowledgeable and thorough and although she ultimately referred me to another ENT who specialized in my condition, I would go back to her in a heartbeat if I had another issue and would recommend her to anybody. She was not much help and did not have good bedside manners. She did not Greet us when she first came to the room and was not friendly at all with my son. She seemed to not like us when she saw us because of the race and religious issue. :(

Dr. O'Reilly was friendly, helpful, and quick. The appointment was really exactly what I would have hoped for. The only thing I can think of that I could complain about was that the front desk staff was chatting, whispering, and laughing with each other a lot. It didn't really feel like a professional atmosphere (although within Dr. O'Reilly's office it did)

Was called in very late -- almost an hour behind schedule -- and got only a cursory and insincere apology and (frankly) all business -- absolutely no warmth or human connectivity... sort of felt like I was the last thing standing in the way of the end of the doctor's day.
And, frankly, the examination was pretty painful. A bit of information in advance might have helped -- i.e., I had provided a good deal of background on why I was coming in, so if they had in turn given me some insights into what to expect, I might have pre-medicated or something along those lines.

I had a great first visit with Dr. O'Reilly. She took the time to talk to me, explain my issues to me, and discuss options with me. She impressed me as very knowledgeable and compassionate. Office staff members were friendly, organized, and efficient.

I was not particularly satisfied with my appointments with Dr. O'Reilly. I did not feel that she took the time to understand what I was describing as the problem and immediately had me schedule a hearing test, and two more visits after resulted in a "Yeah, I don't know what the trouble is."

Dr. O'Reilly was so helpful and considerate. You can tell she has a gentle heart and her kindness is apparent. She helped put me to ease during a pretty unfortunate case of back-to-back tonsillitis. Highly recommended!

My appntmt with Dr. O'Reilly was outstanding. She was very patient in answering all of my questions and was very thorough with the exam and the explanation of the hearing test results. I also appreciated the fact that I was seen before my appointment time and didn't have to wait at all. Front desk staff was very courteous and efficient as was Jackie, who took care of my payment. Overall, in the top 5% experience I've had visiting doctors' offices.

Dr. O'Reilly lacks experience and needs work on her bedside manner. I felt rushed and every time I spoke she would either cut me off or over talk me. No I would not recommend her at all.

I had a tonsillectomy as an adult and she warned me it would be rough. That was helpful because I was prepared. Recovery went well except for the fact I had to go back for an emergency cauterization because a scab peeled off a blood vessel. Not sure if that was a mistake during the surgery or what. But my throat feels great now so she did an overall good job!
