The doctor was very concerned and a good listener and I appreciate that in the doctor and she did not treat me as a number and wish me away from the office to see the next patient. It's important to me for a doctor to listen to their patients and to understand if they don't have the answers for them to send you to where you can get the answers. I did appreciate her concern for my first visit and also how she checked me out and ask me questions and ask me if I want it to have a certain procedure done. So overall I was pleased with my visit.

Ms. Stier's nursing experience includes Family Medicine, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Rapid Response Team (providing emergency medical services throughout the hospital), unit wound care representative, and Preceptor to both CICU and RRT roles. Ms. Stier is a member of her local Fire Department where she has been providing emergency medical services to community residents for over 14 years.
Ms. Stier is a two-time recipient of the Eagle Eye Award for recognizing a patient safety concern and preventing patient harm by speaking up. She is also a two-time nominee for the individual Daisy Award and a one-time nominee for the Team Daisy Award for providing extraordinary compassionate care.
"I strive to provide quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages," stated Ms. Stier. "My main focus is on health education and encouraging patient engagement while empowering them for health promotion. I help patients identify and achieve their optimal health goals."

I have White coat syndrome ?? something awful ??
Ashley and her office staff did their best to try to ease my anxiety - including, removing their white coats!!! #appreciatethat
While I had a full on anxiety attack we worked through it and I’ve even agreed to come back for a follow up appointment in 2 weeks. (This a a HUGE deal for me! ??)
Ashley insisted on introducing herself as a friend (who is a doctor) that will always listen and try to help.

After explaining my health history and that I’d stopped menstruating, Ashley said “oh okay, I’ll write “no possibility to conceive.”” Despite my disinterest in being a parent, I found this comment very flippant and very hurtful. You can write whatever you need to in your chart, but there is no need to use such coarse, clinical language when talking about something as personal as someone’s ability to conceive. Please remember the person on the other end of the phone/keyboard.

I am very happy to have Dr. Stier as my family doctor after my first visit. She is so nice and very professional. She takes a great care about patients. She explained her opinions about my illness very professionally and clearly. She is a very good communicator and listener too. Her assistant and receptionist are very nice too. I am very satisfied about my visit. By the way, their office and the whole building are very bran new and nice.
