I saw Ashton for an overall skin check. Ashton was thorough, kind, and very easy to talk to. She spoke clearly and let me know of each item on my skin that she was looking at. I told her during my appointment that I appreciated her being so thorough and actually taking the time to explain what she was seeing. Absolutely wonderful experience!!! ??

Pleased with the appointment. After filling out the paperwork I was seen in less than 10 minutes. There were several patients in the waiting room and we all were processed quickly, I thought. The Olivia, Assistant was prompt, efficient and pleasant. This was not my first visit, but they all have been handled professionally and efficiently.

Ashton Lokar, NP-C is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Ashton is a native New Englander. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Boston College and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. She has trained at several top hospitals including Brigham and Women’s, Boston Children’s, and Beth Israel Deaconess. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors with an emphasis on family and internal medicine, pediatrics, and plastic surgery.
Ashton joins us from Encompass Health and Concord Hospital in Concord, NH where she expanded her passion for skin health and expertise in wound care.
Ashton is an advanced nurse injector for cosmetics. She is also a member the Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA), The International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD-Global), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association (NHNPA).
Ashton works closely with our doctors to diagnose and prescribe treatment for many skin conditions for men, women and children. Her areas of focus are skin cancer detection and other women’s health issues including adult acne, GYN dermatology, hair loss, nutrition and anti-aging.

Nurse Ashton is excellent and this rating does NOT reflect her performance. If it were only for her, it would be a 5-star rating. The reason the rating is that bad is because of the person who picks up the phone on behalf of the medical team. I called last week to ask for my prescription to be refilled cause I didn't want to pay for another appointment knowing it was the same issue. That person hung up on me three times, then finally spoke to me only to say "yeah, we'll see if we can refill it" and hung up again. I never heard back and had to book an appointment. Nurse Ashton confirmed she could have simply refilled my prescription so all this was a complete loss of money due to an unprofessional and rude person who picks up the phone and can't be bothered to assist patients. I would advise this person to choose a different career or she will do a lot of damage to a practice that used to be fantastic.
