About Ashley Olson
Ashley Olson is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant. She is a Texas native and received her undergraduate degree in nutrition at The University of Texas at Austin. She then worked as a dermatology MA for nearly three years alongside an incredible physician assistant, where she found her passion for this specialty. This experience ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in dermatology. Ashley graduated with honors and earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Bryant University in Rhode Island. She is currently completing the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants online fellowship to further her dermatology education. She is excited to practice as a dermatology physician assistant and hopes to make a positive impact in her patient’s lives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, trying new coffee shops and restaurants in Boston, cheering for the Texas Longhorns, binging a good show, going to concerts, and traveling.

The provider was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, attentive, a great listener, patient, and addressed all of my concerns thoroughly… However, the front office staff were rather unpleasant and unprofessional. When I arrived, the person at the front desk slid the glass door open and immediately said “name?”, just as I smiled and said good morning. She did not respond nor did she make eye contact with me throughout any of the time she spoke to me. At one point she asked what pharmacy I use and out of habit I started to give the address. She got irritated that I didn’t start with the name (funny thing is she put the wrong location). She was more focused on having conversations with the other people behind the desk (who were also unfriendly and curt).

I found that the appointment went as well as it did because from reception to being discharged, all the staff that I interacted with were all wonderful! I was happy with the treatments they gave me and the post-treatment instructions were very clear.
