The doctor was great but when I referred two of my friends to him, they saw a different doctor when he was out of the office - both of my friends called to complain about the same female doctor.
Also, Dr. Rojas did a biopsy on my arm for a mole, and the scar he left looks worse than the mole did over a year later.

Dr. Augusto Rojas is a physician treating patients in Greater Los Angeles. He specializes in general surgery as well as anti-aging medicine and aesthetic medicine. His professional memberships include affiliations with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Academy of Laser Surgery, and the American College of Sports Medicine. Trained in Columbia, Dr. Rojas completed his medical degree at the University of Javeriana in Bogota. He later completed a fellowship in general surgery at Cedars Sinai. He has since served as medical director for a variety of medical centers in a variety of disciplines, including cosmetic medicine and surgery, anti-aging medicine, minimally invasive cosmetic surgery, and family practice. He also developed a private practice in the field of family medicine.

Slimy doctor - Doesn't really care so long as he gets the payout from the insurance company for your visit. Expect to have your time wasted.
Typical wait is an hour after the appt time to go into the room plus at least another 45 minutes for the doctor to show up - truly disrespectful of other peoples time.
He asks for your recommendations on treatment, meaning you can go in with a shopping list if you wanted. If that is what you are looking for, he is your guy.

I booked the earliest appointment available, 9am. I arrived 5 minutes early and put my name down...and waited. And waited. Wasn't seen by the doctor until 10:25am, 85 minutes after I scheduled my appointment. Needless to say, I'm really annoyed at how inconvenient this was. Would not recommend Dr. Rojas for this reason.
Actual doctor work was fine.

Ok, so the waiting stinks but he is such a lovely doctor that it's ok. He has real compassion and is a very sweet man. I've seen him for quite some time and it's always a wait but when you do see him, he does take a considerable amount of time with you and will answer all of your questions. Each and every one of them.

Dr Augusto Rojas lists himself as a Primary Doctor and his name showed up when I was looking for a Primary Doctor in LA.
However, he is really a dermatologist and cosmetologist and does some primary care on the side.
When I showed up for primary care, I got third class treatment because for him the cosmetology patients are more important.
I had to wait almost an hour after scheduled time and then when I asked about the wait, he showed up and spent quick 2 minutes diagnose and hands me prescription and then went away to see his other patient.
He may be a good cosmetologist but if you need to visit a primary care physician, please do yourself a favor and skip him.

Very welcoming. I've just moved out here from NYC so I was nervous in finding a new doctor but he seem very very nice. Only confusion was zocDoc gave me a 9am option for an appointment but that's the time the office is opening which means there is some time for staff to settle in. No big deal.

He took his time with talking to me and explained my meds carefully. He is a bit hard to understand but that's the only downside. I especially liked the front desk/nursed there. They let me talk and listened well. It was my first time there, I will be back in a month for a check up and hopefully Augusto will be my primary doctor. It has taken me a very long time to find a doctor I trust so I'm very excited.

The Doctor was very friendly and easy to talk to. I went into the office on short notice to get a physical for a surgery I needed to have quickly and he and his staff were able to schedule me in on short notice and were very easy to deal with. I highly recommend this Doctor.

Dr Rojas is a good patient doctor, and his staff are friendly too. But his office seems to be severely overloaded when I went for my annual physical, and had to wait at least one hour before being seen
Also, after the physical exam, I still have not received my test results after almost two weeks, and I had to always call the office each time to find out about the status, because they never called me back even after they said they would.
