The facility was clean, and everyone seemed/was professional. The nurse practitioner was very professional and kind. I didn't see Dr. Ogwu, but a female Dr. and she answered pretty much all of my questions, and made me feel like I could ask whatever I needed to. I will continue to visit this facility until dissatisfied. I like it so far.

My interest in medicine stems from the fact that I lost my mother at an early age of three months from a simple and treatable illness of diarrhea with dehydration. I have since held the opinion that no one should have to die from lack of basic health care.
After completing my high school education in Nigeria where I was born, I went to Alexandria University in Egypt where I obtained my pre-med and medical degrees with honors. On graduation I returned to Nigeria and later to Zimbawe to provide medical services to the under served population.
I did my residency in internal medicine at Harlem Hospital in New York an affiliate of Columbia University. I am board certified with both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Board of Disability Analyst.
After my training in New York, I worked for many years at Martin Luther King Family Medical Clinic where I rose to become the Medical director.
In 2003, I established Alpha Medical Center in Lancaster with the goal of providing comprehensive and quality primary care with compassion and convenience. This is one stop for primary care with dignity, quality and excellent medical services.

Well it was ok you didn't be actually see the doctor or meet him I thought when you go to the doctor the first time you suppose actually meet him but the assistant came in and it was so fast then I have to wait for my test results to come back so I don't know yet but I will give a chance first just see if he's worth be five stars

My appointment was at 9:30, I even had two of the forms completed prior to my appointment and it took an hour before seeing anyone. It was extremely cold and I had to ask what procedures are you doing, they offered no explanation other than sit here and ill be back. So, I think there is room for improvement, I did find it touching that Dr. Ogwu does come out and speak to the staff and acknowledge the patients that are waiting, that made me feel very accepting.

Hands down the most unprofessional and condescending doctor I have ever met. We had just moved into town and were told by our insurance to go and see this man, which was the biggest mistake and hugest waste of our time! First, we arrived 45 minutes early for the appointment because the office claimed that there was alot of paperwork to fill out, so we did arrive that early. We were not even given the paperwork until 45 mins after our scheduled appointment time!! After that, it was almost another hour before we went back to see the doctor where we preceded to wait an additional 45 mins! Once "his highness" entered the room, he began to speaking to my husband in a very rude manner so I came into the conversation. He seemed offended that a woman would dare speak to him! As i tried to explain the situation "him" he outright told me my opinion didn't matter and it was a "man's conversation". My husband was furious with how disrespectfully he spoke to me and we immediately walked out, as he claimed we didn't even know what a doctor was for. He may be good for getting cheap prescription, but nothing for any serious medical help.

There were several mix ups with my appointment which caused me to have to wait in the waiting room over an hour before being seen. The front office staff never apologized for their mixup nor the excessive wait time. The assistant that called me back and took my stats was very nice and professional. The doctor was also very nice and was very thorough in explaining everything. If it wasnt for the scheduling mixup and unprofessionalism of the front desk I wouldn't think twice about returning to this office. But I live over 30 miles from the office and have to travel too far to have to deal with all of that. I'll just find another office closer to my house.

Waited over an hour and a half to get back. The. Waited way too long for a prescription that was sent over while I was still in the back. Over 3 hour visit. Terrible experience!!!!

Nothing against the doctor but the online appointment. Despite what I put in, I waited an hour for them to tell me they could not see me or use my insurance after my money was taken. Online appt are good for simple visits but need to be able to talk to someone about your visit

I will never go to his office again. I had an appointment scheduled for 5:4pm5 and I didn't leave until a little after 8pm! Whats worse is after all of that waiting, he still didn't treat the illness I was dealing with.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enermy! Bathrooms were nasty and smelled like urine, waited over 2 hours before I even seen the doctor, another hour to be dismissed...for a total of 3 hours! He was rude and impatient!!
