Dr. Nisha Gajendra (pronounced “KNEE-sha GAH-hen-dra”) is a board-certified family medicine physician who has practiced in the United States since 2014. She completed her family medicine residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, followed by fellowship training in geriatric medicine.
Dr. Gajendra provides comprehensive primary care for adults, with clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, and geriatrics. On the website, it says that they take United healthcare an hour before my appointment. I got a call stating that the doctor was out of my network and I didn’t have out of network coverage and I would have to pay for everything out-of-pocket, even though on the United healthcare website where I found the doctors information said I was in network with the doctor. I don’t like last minute. The lady claimed that someone contacted me on Friday, but I have the voicemail and it was never said that my insurance was not accepted. It was saying that I needed to upload my insurance by today very unprofessional and unorganized no sympathy whatsoever when told that I’ve been out of my medication’s because my other PCP Quit
