Dr. Austyn Wasko was born in Duluth, MN and grew up in the small town of Two Harbors, MN with his parents and twin sister. While in high school Dr. Austyn was a tri-sport athlete, playing hockey, football, and golf throughout his years there and was the captain of both the hockey and football team. In 2013, Dr. Austyn graduated from Two Harbors High School and further pursued education at the University of North Dakota. During his time there, Dr. Austyn was unsure of what career path he wanted to take, but he knew that he wanted to help people live their lives to the best of their ability. In the spring of 2017, Dr. Austyn graduated from UND with a Bachelors of Social Work and that following summer spent his time working at Essentia Health in Duluth, helping those struggling with mental health. It wasn’t until after that summer when Dr. Austyn realized that he wanted to make a bigger impact in the community, one that revolved around a natural and holistic approach to health.
In the fall of 2017, Dr. Austyn then began Chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University where he focused on the art, science, and philosophy of neurologically based Chiropractic care. Within his first year at NWHSU Dr. Austyn was leading the Torque Release Technique club on campus and continued until he graduated in the spring of 2021. Dr. Austyn was also engaged in many other clubs on campus and spent much of his time outside of school going to as many technique seminars as he could, becoming certified in both Torque Release Technique and Zone Technique, as well as having substantial knowledge in MC2, Network Spinal Analysis, Talsky Tonal, Manual/Diversified and Activator Technique.
In his spare time, Dr. Austyn enjoys DJing, playing guitar, seeing live music and sporting events, traveling, collecting art, being outside, and spending time with friends and family.
