Dr. Mantel received her Bachelors of Science Degree with Honors in Microbiology from the University of Washington. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. In 2005 she received both the Alcon Award for Clinical Excellence and the David J. Kerko Low Vision Award. Dr. Mantel completed an externship at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Bellevue, WA. There she received special training in LASIK and cataract perioperative care.
Dr. Mantel joined the Family Eye Doctors in 2006. She lives with her husband in Issaquah where they enjoy hiking. skiing, art, and relaxing with family.
