It was my first time at the office. The staff was really nice and thorough. I had a wait because they had to verify my insurance. Dr. Sutton was explained everything in full and he made me feel comfortable.

Originally from Washington, DC and New Orleans, Averell joined Central Women’s Health Care after a distinguished 12-year medical career in the U.S. Army. During his military service he was Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Reynolds Army Community Hospital at Fort Sill, OK and a Combat General Surgeon during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
Averell attended Columbia University in NYC and completed his undergraduate BA in biology, magna cum laude, from Dillard University in New Orleans. He earned his medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brooke Army Medical Center here in San Antonio. Dr. Sutton is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Averell is married and has three children. He plays tennis and racquetball and enjoys jazz and coaching little league sports.

My appointment was scheduled for 215 and I left the office after they closed which was 5. Personaly i saw no reason for my wait to have been that long. But after i was finally seen dr stutton was very nice and professional

The staff was not very orderly nor did their sign in sheet help any. I waited their for more then 2hrs before they saw me and that's only because I went up to the front desk and asked them a hr after what happened to my appt the rep skipped me and had the nerve to ask if I signed in when she's the one who had me sign in. Not organized. Wish I had a better experience.
