Ayaka has more than 12 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Azusa Pacific University. As a marriage and family therapist and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Ayaka helps with anxiety, depression, co-occurring disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use. She believes in therapy and holistic medicine using person-centered and strengths-based approaches. Ayaka has experience in emergency room settings as well as inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities. She is fluent in Japanese and enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and cuisines, and spending time with her family and friends. Ayaka loves enjoying her morning cup of coffee each day.
