Azi Ahmadi is a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association and a Certified Diabetes Educator with the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
She received her Master of Science degree in clinical nutrition from New York University and completed her dietetic training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Springfield College in Massachusetts.
Her strong clinical background coupled with her athletic experiences and accomplishments as an All East Collegiate Runner affords Azi the ability to provide optimal care. Whether you have been diagnosed with Type I or Type II Diabetes, a Lipid Disorder, a GI issue, are pregnant, are training for your first Ironman, are an accomplished athlete or simply would like to learn the most updated, cutting edge dietary guidelines for optimal health, fitness and prevention of many medical conditions, Azi will work closely with you and your doctor if necessary. Individualized guidance is provided to each patient and client. Helping YOU reach and maintain optimal health and fitness is of paramount importance to Azi.
Azi has served as a clinical dietitian at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center (both located in NYC), for eight years, where she specialized in critical care and pediatric nutrition support.

Excellent! She was very pleasant and informative. Overall a great experience. It was my first time seeing a dietitian. I just wish I live close to Ridgewood. I drove about 45 min. coming from where I live but I think it was worthwhile.

I had my appointment with Azi today and I am happy oh so happy to reveal an improvement in my overall body fat! Such joy! It is a lot of diligent work each day to plan and eat well keep up a high level of exercise and sleep while results take time to show! I am thrilled to have the guidance of Azi with each step toward a healthy and improved blood sugar level at my next visit at the Doctor's office.
The process does work and we have to be patient with ourselves as we take each new step under the confidence of the help from Azi.

This session with Azi was very eye opening. With her vast knowledge of Diabetes we were able to tweak some more things to achieve my goals more efficiently. Also lost another 1.3% body fat and have almost hit my goal with her help. She spends a lot of time reviewing logs and understanding my trends so we can maximize our session together. Highly recommend Azi if you are truly looking for permanent long term health results.

I loved my visit with Azi Ahmadi today. She is truly an expert in the field of Nutrition and Diabetes Education. I did the metabolism test today. (Very Cool!!) Based on my results Azi created a detailed meal plan that was designed and tailored for my specific issues and needs. She explained everything so clearly and i am so excited to begin my meal plan. She also spent a generous amount of time teaching me how to take my blood sugar using a new testing machine and provided me with extra testing strips. I highly recommend working with Azi Ahmadi. She is Outstanding and so easy to get along with. I am looking very forward to my follow- up visit. I feel so motivated after this visit. Thank you so much Azi!!
