Dr. Natarajan earned his medical degree from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, India. Upon completion, he moved to the United States to pursue clinical research at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) in the Division of Inflammation and Cardiometabolic diseases. Dr. Natarajan completed his residency training from the University of Arizona in Tucson and his General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships from the University of California Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine. He also served as the Chief Cardiology fellow at UCR.
He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography. He is board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology and Vascular medicine. He has co-authored several journal articles and book chapters in Cardiology. He has made several oral/poster presentations at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and American Heart Association (AHA) scientific sessions.

I'm like most doctor visits that are somewhat mundane, I was very surprised to have the interaction with my doctor. Before I went to the doctor this morning I took some time and made a summary of My overall health and some questions and some expectations. The doctor actually took quality time to go through that and answer my questions. Even though it was my first time there I feel like I was an actual human being and not just another patient with a number behind it
