Dr. Hirsch was very personable, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I felt confident that I was in good hands. She set me up with the nutritionist in the same office and follow up appointments for more test and review of results. I am relieved to have found such a wonderful endocrinologist!

A graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, Dr. Hirsch received her medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. She did her internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and her medical residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She continued her study of endocrinology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine as well as Endocrinology and Metabolism. Dr. Hirsch has participated in the American Diabetes Association and the professional education committee of its Long Island Chapter, NY Diabetes Association Clinical Society, American College of Physicians, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the North American Menopause Society. She is a past board member of the Nassau Chapter of the American Medical Women's Association. Dr Hirsch also served on the Board of Trustees of the National Council of Women in Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology.

Dr. Hirsch was fantastic. Not only did she take a detailed medical history when she first came into the room, but she sat and discussed all of my complaints and listened thoroughly. She spent a good 30 minutes with me, and did not rush through our appointment at all. She was also incredibly friendly and energetic. Would highly recommend her.

I was disappointed because I wasn't seen at exactly 11:45am (my scheduled appt.). However Dr Hirsch and her support staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. I intend to remain with her past my follow up visits. And her eyeglasses are too adorable. I love doctors with a sense of fashion!!!
