I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing mental health services to patients of all ages via diagnosing, psychotherapy, medication management, substance use disorder, Medication Assisted Treatment and family therapy. This provider confirmed our appointment by phone in a conversation beforehand and via multiple text confirmations. When we arrived at her door at the scheduled time, a man was sitting behind the front desk. We knocked, peered in through the glass door, and waved waved to him. He made eye contact and then scooted his chair into the hallway where we couldn’t see him! We called the office-VM full. Left a message at a second number never to receive a call back. Atrociously unprofessional.
