Above average all the way around. Definitely child friendly. They were great with my 4 year old. The office is easy to find, clean and a good place to wait to see the doctor. Reception is pleasant and welcoming. We saw the Ophthalmic Technician first and she was very nice, explained everything she was doing and gave me a chance to ask question. We saw the Ophthalmic Technician within 20 minutes of getting in the office. We seen Dr, Drucker in a little over a hour. Not bad for making the appointment 4 hours before going. He was pleasant took the time to fully examine the eyes, gave a diagnosis and allowed time for questions.

After completing medical school, Dr. Barry Drucker fulfilled two years of residency in internal medicine before beginning his ophthalmology residency at Beth Israel Hospital in New York. He has been in private practice since 1976 and has acquired vast surgical and diagnostic experience in all aspects of the field, including refractive surgery, which he has been performing since 1988. As a LASIK eye surgeon serving the Bayside community in Queens, Dr. Barry Drucker offers the most advanced and sophisticated LASIK methods including IntraLase® bladeless LASIK and Wavefront™ LASIK. Other ophthalmic procedures and treatments performed at his practice include RK, PRK, cataract surgery, diabetic retinopathy treatment, and glaucoma treatment.
In addition to vision treatment and correction, Dr. Drucker uses his surgical expertise and expansive knowledge of laser systems to provide a variety of facial cosmetic procedures to his patients. As a chief resident at Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Drucker studied under and observed distinguished oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Pierre Guibor of Manhattan Ear and Eye, to perfect his cosmetic surgery techniques. Additionally, Dr. Drucker has been certified in the use of carbon dioxide lasers for cosmetic purposes. Laser skin resurfacing and rejuvenation, BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), and laser skin lesion removal can all be performed at Dr. Barry Drucker’s Bayside practice.

I was moved around from room to room, waiting for 2 hours total from my appointment time. When I asked to get a prescription for my dry eyes, they refused me twice stating to buy it over the counter. They should be aware my insurance covers it since they're the ones who informed me they don't accept my insurance for glasses even though other opthalmologists' offices accept it and I'm able to get my glasses fully covered. The doctor who saw me was fine but because of the other factors, I don't know if I'd go back especially due to the long 2 hour wait time.

This doctor needs to talk to his patient not just look into their eyes not knowing their medical condition that affects the eyes. Must show more interest in the patient rather than the almighty dollar that he can make off of the patient (s) the entire office visit was horrible. The staff was rude and obnoxious. I can say this from my experience that they practice discrimination in that office with a certain race which I brought to their attention. Other patients that came to that office spoke with me and has indicated that they will not be returning to that doctor for any care because he don't know what he's doing. I agreed with that based on his performance with me as well. The entire office needs training on people's skills from manager to the receptionist. Horrible experience...... Will not return and will not recommend anyone to that office.
