It's Amazing to find such a good Dr., he has a kind bedside manner and even adds a bit of humor; I have never found a doctor that has his empathy to realize how nervous we are, and make me feel comfortable. I would give Dr Resnik all the stars if I could. And he is clearly very capable. I'm never going to another dermatologist :)

Barry I. Resnik, MD is the Medical Director of the Resnik Skin Institute in Aventura, Florida. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1990 and completed his residency in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Resnik is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
He has practiced in South Florida for over 20 years. Dr Resnik is an Eagle Scout. He is a Voluntary Clinical Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, where he teaches in the Residency program. Dr. Resnik is a volunteer staff physician at the Open Door Health Center in Homestead, Fl, where he provides dermatologic care for low-income families. He is the Team Dermatologist for the World Champion MLB Florida Marlins.
His practice encompasses adult, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Resnik's cosmetic surgery practice includes tumescent liposuction, fat transfer, hair transplantation, all manner of cutaneous laser applications, sclerotherapy and chemical peeling. His noninvasive rejuvenation practice includes IPL, BOTOX, Silicone Microdroplet augmentation therapy, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse and Bellafill. He has published numerous articles and book chapters in the dermatologic literature, including his most recent publication, an updated chapter on Skin Preparation in Chemical Peeling. Dr. Resnik has special expertise in Psoriasis, Vitiligo, Acne and Hidradenitis Suppurativa.

I specifically asked for a retin-a type prescription and he tried to sell me on his own brand. I still never got a prescription type retin-a product. He did not deliver on my request at all.
