She is a great physician and takes time to explain difficult concepts. She has awesome bedside manner but...her office staff needs training in downloading zocdoc documents so that we patients should not have to fill out the documents again. They also need training in bedside manners to prevent them from being rude to patients. Office staff forget that we patients are customers and we can always find another doctor.
Still Dr. Jafri was great and I will be her patient as long as my insurance permites.

Dr. Jafri graduated summa cum laude as well as Phi Beta Kappa in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma, Norman. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Biological Chemistry at UCLA, while on a full dean’s scholarship. She earned her M.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, maintaining the prestigious status of Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. She went on for subspecialty training after completing her residency, and received a Cornea/External Disease and Refractive Surgery fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. After her fellowship, Dr. Jafri returned to Los Angeles and has been on the faculty at UCLA since.
Dr. Jafri offers personalized excellence and world-class eye care to all patients. Dr. Jafri trains doctors in medical and surgical ophthalmology, and in corneal and external disease and surgery. She also has publications in major journals including Journal of Family Practice, Cornea, Archives of Ophthalmolgy, and Journal of Refractive Surgery.

Me and my wife had dual visits with Doctor Jafri, and it was fast, and incredibly pleasant. She has a great bedside manner, and was very informative. She was even aware that I had vitiligo, a little known condition that many doctors have been unfamiliar with.
I highly recommend her.

From the office staff to the physician..my experience here was a first and a positive one..Dr Jafri brought her wealth of knowledge to me in a very reassuring way..my symptoms brought me to her in an urgent manner and her calm professionalism and detailed explanation of what I was experiencing allowed me to understand fully what I was dealing with and what I must do to be healthy moving forward..my unease and concern was alleviated by Dr Jafri's bedside manner and interest..all my question marks were removed and I will definitely be following up with her for all my eye care needs from now on..

The office staff was very professional and nice. We were running late, but they were understanding and were able to accomodate us despite being 45 mins late! Dr. Jafri was compassionate and took time to listen to my son. She offered some encouraging words about his treatment which were appreciated. I read her credentials and after meeting her, I agree. She was knowlegable and almost anticipated my questions before I asked them. I would definately recommend her to my family and friends.
