Beata L. Rydzik M.D. graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School where she received the William B. Taylor Award for Excellence in Dermatology. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology at the University of Michigan, where she received extensive training from world-recognized authorities in medical dermatology, clinical research, cutaneous oncology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology with the latest advances in laser techniques. Dr. Rydzik provides her patients with treatment modalities that are both state-of-the-art and clinically proven. By attending advanced medical seminars and training sessions, Dr. Rydzik continues to expand the services of her practice and enhance her expert applications in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
During her time away from the clinic, Dr. Rydzik enjoys outdoor activities such as fly fishing, skiing, biking and hiking with her chocolate lab, Bijou. She recently volunteered for a medical mission in the Andean mountains of Peru, performing free medical care for remote villages.

Dr. Rydzik's bedside manner was awful. She spoke to me like a child. I had to fight to get any words out, she just continued to talk over me and interrupt me. I felt extremely rushed. I have never had such a negative experience with a doctor. At one point she pinched my cheek and said "Aww, and see your face reddens with emotion." I wasn't upset about the condition she was telling me I had, I was frustrated that she wouldn't let me speak and was annoyed that was was treating me like a child. I am a 30 year old woman! Then, she prescribed medicine I can't take because I am trying to conceive, which she would have known had she even glanced at the paperwork I filled out when I arrived at the office. She was extremely quick to pump me full of drugs, and didn't give me any other type of advice. I found a whole lot more information online about what I can do, including very simple things such as changing my diet. It was a huge waste of time and money. I would not recommend.

Their computers were down. They had no telephone book available or any list of phone numbers of insurance companies available. Since I needed to call my insurance company it was a rather unpleasant hassle of them saying without my health card I would be billed directly. When I asked them to call my health insurance company they said they could not, when I asked for my insurance company phone number, they did not have it, when I asked for a phone book, they did not have that either. Made for very poor customer service.
