Dr. Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and very willing to dialogue with me during our appointment. He was caring and answered all the questions I had. His nurse was with him through the entire appointment and participated in the conversation! I feel like I would be able to get ahold of her, if needed (which isn't usual, in my experience). I have only positive things to say about my appointment with Dr. Anthony!

Benjamin P. Anthony, MD, joined the IU School of Medicine faculty in 2016 following a laryngology Fellowship at the Emory University Voice Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Anthony is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and serves as director of the Indiana University Voice Center.
Dr. Anthony earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine before completing his otolaryngology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center Combined Program. He specializes in care of patients with voice, airway and swallowing disorders. His clinical practice embraces a patient-centered atmosphere and offers specialty expertise in such procedures as Botox therapy for voice disorders; laryngeal microsurgery; laryngeal videostroboscopy; upper airway stenosis surgery; and awake vocal cord injections and KTP laser laryngeal surgery.
Prior to pursuing his medical training, Dr Anthony was classically trained in voice and opera. As such, he has a special empathy with patients suffering from voice problems and treats these patients with the upmost care and compassion. He continues to be involved in the music community and maintains a membership in the American Guild of Musical Artists. In his free time he also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and exploring his new found love of the Hoosier state.

Dr. Ben Anthony was amazing. The whole office staff was efficient and explained the details of the process well. Dr. Anthony was quick to join us in the room, listened well to my concerns, and was very supportive as he checked out my issue. It helps that I received a clean bill of health of course, but he also suggested a natural product to help increase my throat comfort in the future. Highly recommend. We did our research beforehand and found his profile to be the best, don't look any further!

I was extremely happy with my appointment with Dr. Anthony today. He really took the time to discuss all options and all of his nurses and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. He spent more time than I expected listening and coming up with multiple ways to solve and prevent my vocal problems.

I was extremely impressed with the doctor's knowledge, bedside manner, and skill. I trusted him right away. I was scared of invasive procedures, but he was quick and painless. He cares about patient's comfort. He reviewed everything thoroughly and understandably. Relevant to my condition, he had a speech pathologist ready to see me, an added bonus. She was great also. He made the diagnosis, and I trust that the treatment plan he recommended will work. I'm in the medical field, and I give this specialist a perfect rating.

Dr. Anthony is great at what he does. He is such a nice person & each visit is always very informational. Whenever I have an appointment, I am confident that all of my questions will be answered & I leave his office feeling relieved. With this visit, I need to have my procedure done ASAP because of work. He and his scheduling coordinator, Tammy, worked it out for me and now I will not have to miss work & will have enough time to recover before school starts. I'm so glad I was referred to Dr. Anthony. He & his staff are wondeful. I highly recommend him.
