More about Benjamin Jeppe, MSN, NP
Benjamin Jeppe, MSN, AGNP-C, recently received his Nurse Practitioner degree from Boise State University in 2020. He has a background in both primary care as a Chiropractor and acute care as a Critical Care Nurse. He has seen both spectrums of healthcare and the benefits of taking preventative measures to ensure better health and the consequences of poor lifestyle choices. After spending the last decade in acute care, Ben is excited to return to primary care as an advocate for his patients in their pursuits of living a fuller, more health-conscious life.
When Ben is not working with patients, he is living his fullest, healthy life taking advantage of all that the PNW has to offer from the mountains to the sea. You might find him hiking a trail or carefully making his way down on a mountain bike. If not on the trail, he is on the water (salt or fresh) kite surfing on oversized waves or swells. He has two grown boys whom he is very proud of, along with their pursuits in the United States Air Force and exercise physiology.
Ben has several favorite quotes he shares when approaching the health of his patients. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, had it right from the beginning in saying “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food,” “Walking is a man’s best friend,” and “It is far more important to know what person the disease has than what disease the person has.” This along with Benjamin Franklin’s saying of “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” is a crucial part of the primary care services that Ben and all of OnePeak Medical provide.
