Dr. Kurecki also served as Chairman of the Intensive Care Unit Committee, at HCA Medical Center. He completed his internship in the Family Practice Residency Program as well as his two year residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL. His training never stopped, and he continues to be passionate about continuing his medical education. He has even been honored with the Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association, for taking a high number of credits over six years.
Dr. Kurecki stays deeply involved in the community with volunteer projects, like treating patients at the St. Petersburg free clinic. He was also Team Physician for Westwood High School Football. Dr. Kurecki has published research like “First Aid and Treatment of Venomous Snake Bites in North America” in the Journal of Family Practice. He completed an intensive fellowship with the American Academy of Family Physicians, and served as a Diplomat for the American Board of Family Practice for nineteen years.
