“I notice a lot of patients there so I figure she must be good. i waited for a hour or so before i was seen . Staff friendly. Doctor was cool . I was done in no time compared to me waiting. They do blood work there for a fee. I was already fasting so I went ahead and did that. Place was clean”

About Dr. Nesreen Kurtom
Dr. Nesreen (Rose) Kurtom has more than 16 years of experience in internal medicine. She grew up in the Washington, DC, area where she graduated from the University of Maryland College Park. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Dr. Kurtom is board certified and re-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Prior to founding PPCA, Dr. Kurtom worked as a hospitalist providing compassionate inpatient care to thousands of patients. Before moving to South Florida, she has served as medical staff for nine years at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and Harford Memorial hospitals for inpatient care and treatment. Since moving to Florida in 2014, Dr. Kurtom has covered patients at several hospitals throughout South Florida, including Broward Health hospitals and Northwest Medical Center in Margate, FL. In addition to providing exemplary patient care, she also serves as core teaching faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program as well as an Internal Medicine faculty member for the NSU Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine.
Dr. Kurtom’s core belief is that the patient comes first. She ensures that her patients’ treatment or preventive care plan is custom-tailored to their specific needs based on the current highest standard of care. Dr. Kurtom believes that communication is vital, and therefore, strives to inform her patients and/or caretakers of detailed care plans.
