I had a GREAT experience with Dr. Leighton. In the past year when I've left a doctor I have felt gaslit and confused like, "Wait, did any of my concerns get addressed or just placated and dismissed? Why do I feel more stressed and upset now?" Dr. Leighton was the opposite of that to the point that I'm looking forward to going back. I left feeling respected, heard, and like I finally found a *collaborative* doctor to take my health seriously, make a plan to set me up for success, and discuss any concerns - even slight body changes - with information that soothed anxieties and a vocalized trust that I know my body better than anyone else could. She is very warm with an easy bedside manner. It was particularly helpful that she has knowledge around neurodiversity and was able to talk about neruodivergences in a way other GPs just don't have the up-to-date understanding or experience. I'm so thankful to have found a great doctor in a new city!
