Recent reviews

Dr Mintz is leaving New York City, so a review is not appropriate. Otherwise, it would be glowing. She has been my neurologist for 6 years and I trust her completely.
The appointment was very efficient. Dr. Mintz seems knowledgeable, and is polite. Although Dr. Mintz was able to rule out select concerns, they did not address all the symptoms until probed.

The appointment was very efficient. Dr. Mintz seems knowledgeable, and is polite. Although Dr. Mintz was able to rule out select concerns, they did not address all the symptoms until probed.
I was disappointed that Dr. Mintz had no suggestions about testing or diagnosis for my extreme peripheral neuropathy and did not seem interested in studying or exploring beyond her existing knowledge. She basically said "I have no idea, be on your way." I also mentioned a previous peripheral neuropathy that she had never heard of and asked nothing about and expressed no interest in exploring. The lack of curiosity in learning something new or investigating an unknown condition is concerning.
very thorough with questions and manual exam. very good communications skills, open , warm bedside manner, encouraging second opinion which i needed.
