Hi, my name is Beverly White and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and I’ve been working in the medical field since 2008. I specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating adults with psychiatric concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mood dysregulation as well as behavioral and thought disorders. In my career, I helped orchestrate the Colorado Chapter for the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and I’m an active board member for advanced practice nurses through the Colorado Nurses Association. I also am a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. I am passionate in all that I do and highly devoted to making a positive difference to others. Life is full of experiences and changes that can disrupt sleep, cause anxiety, panic, depression, mood dysregulation and a wide array of other symptoms. People may struggle with these throughout their lives or they can be brought on by new, expected or unexpected life stressors. I look to give the opportunity to have a life where these symptoms aren’t interfering. It isn’t always easy to know where to turn to feel welcomed and accepted without judgment. I seek to meet people where they are in their life journey- to make them feel listened to in a place of safety and security in which they can feel received with a sense of genuine care and compassion. A Colorado native, I value family and building trusting relationships with people in all aspects of my life and seek to build strong therapeutic relationships as a Provider. I cherish my son and daughter and have built a wonderful life with my husband of close to 20 years. Key aspects of my life are maintaining harmonious balance through relationships, spirituality, and health including mental health. Experiences I have found quite meaningful in my life include prayer, meditation, yoga, and traveling abroad. I look forward to meeting you!
