Bina Jangda, MSOM, LAc is a lecturer, clinician, author and speaker in the fields of acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutrition. She received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine for Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Berkeley, CA. She has a studied not only with some of the Bay Area’s top acupuncturist but also the best in the States. Currently is part of a team of acupuncturists who have been given a grant to begin integrating acupuncture in Highland Hospital. Highland Hospital will be one of the first hospitals in the country to have acupuncture integrated into every department.
Bina specializes in the care of women with a focus gynecology, reproductive medicine and anti-aging medicine. Her specialty is taking a 3,500 year old system of medicine and applying it to problems of modern women living in the bay area. Women come to her for help with conditions such as symptoms of menopause, menstrual irregularities, PMS, fertility issue, breech baby, morning sickness, delayed labor, low libido, digestive issues and facial rejuvenation acupuncture. Coming from a family of western medical practitioners, Bina is willing to work with all philosophies of health care ranging from those who wish to use only natural modalities of healing to those who are looking to combine the best of western and eastern treatments. Bina is known for her warm, empathetic connection with her patients as she helps them navigate health challenges. Bay Area women appreciate her safe, natural solutions for a wide variety of issues and her advice on combining traditions.
