About Elanita Korian

Elanita Korian, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M., is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and National Diplomat in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She graduated from California State University, Northridge, earning her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Biology. Elanita earned her Master's in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, San Diego. Elanita is trained in a variety of acupuncture styles and specializes in both Japanese Meridian Therapy (Kiiko Style and Ikeda methods) and Balance Method theory. These styles combine refined palpation and specific needling techniques to deliver profoundly effective treatments. They are also especially appropriate for those with sensitivity to needles. Elanita is experienced in treating a wide range of conditions and has developed a particular interest in women's health and fertility issues, chronic and acute pain syndromes, and burnout. While living and practicing in New Zealand, she completed training in gynecological and fertility issues using traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture integrated with Western medicine such as IVF and other assisted reproductive treatments (ART). She also has experience treating women through all stages of life, from menarche to menopause and everything in between. Elanita participated in a multi-center research study by the University of Western Sydney, Center for Complementary Medicine Research. This randomized trial focused on the use of acupuncture to improve live birth rates for women undergoing IVF. She has completed extensive training in: - Dry Needling - Graston Technique (Certified) - Fascia Distortion Model, upper and lower body - Facial rejuvenation styles including Wakefield, Gellis, and Mei Zen - MicroNeedling and Nano Needling (Certified) - Electroacupuncture and dry needling - Functional blood chemistry
