This Office doesn't have a liscense to write prescriptions for bunenorphine at all! But my insurance and i.d. was asked for prior, by office staff! I will check back from time to time..knowing my insurance could be charged. I asked the right questions and understood this Office was legitimate. I felt misled and only texting because I received an e-mail about charging an appointment I never had.

I specifically made an appointment for my ADD/ADHD medication. Everything was fine until I got a call the day of the appointment to inform me that that provider actually doesn’t write Scripps for the medication that I need. Which is super frustrating, because Zocdoc has him as a prescribing provider for Adderall. Nothing but time wasted!?

The other reviews are accurate. Don’t bother booking an appointment here. I tried to call the office and no one anywhere answered the phone before or during my appointment time. I left a message and no one bothered to call me back and explain why they say they are available yet aren’t even in the building or reachable after multiple automatic telephone transfers.
This Dr. can not be depended on to show up to his Zocdoc appointments. Save yourself the inconvenience and move on to the next provider.

I’m not sure what is up with this place, but I’d avoid them. I scheduled an appointment, went in, got checked out, and left. I made a follow up appointment before leaving, but ended up not needing it, which had a cancellation fee if I didn’t cancel in time. So I cancelled the next day for an appointment in 2 weeks.
I get a notification from them two days before the follow up that I cancelled, saying that I still had an appointment. I called them and cancelled again.
Now, I get a bill from them, saying I had an appointment on that follow up date, and in that bill, they never charged my insurance for either appointment (the one that happened or the one that didn’t). So whatever they are trying to do, it seems really scammy at this point.

Nice people but my Zocdoc appointment wasn’t on their system so idk why I even did it. It’s just a very low level urgent care center. Would go out of my way to go somewhere else. Had a better experience two years ago.

I had a good visit with the doctor, she was very nice and informative. But this is the second time i scheduled with zocdoc that when i arrived at the facility im not on their schedule. Ive gotten confirmation emails and reminder texts from zocdoc. I was still accommodated as i was the only one in the lobby, but why even partner with zocdoc if the appointments arent goint to be scheduled anyway. Just seems odd.

I am writing this review as a general review of "Action Urgent Care" since I've had subsequent visits with this clinic, and as of today I will NEVER visit them again.
Their billing system is awful, and their process for collecting payments even worse. I received an invoice from a collections agency today, didn't recognize who it was until it referenced Action Urgent Care.
I have never received any invoices from them prior to receiving an invoice from a debt collector. I immediately called the clinic's billing department directly to resolve the issue. I asked whether they had the correct address for me and whether invoices were sent to me. She had the correct address, and was given the explanation that "We are under no obligation to call or contact you..."
I thought this was horrible customer service, and I explained that I have a credit card to make the payment and I will never do business with your clinic again.

Found ZocDoc very helpful because I knew only doctor's name - he was recommended by a family member. I like this doctor's approach to my treatment. He explained that the procedure I asked for is too invasive and recommended more conservative path but it is working. I felt very comfortable asking questions and found his answers very useful for me to understand my problem and how he is going to work on it. Will recommend this doctor to anyone.

1. I had checked in online, though they still asked me for all the details. Whereas on Zocdoc they have mentioned that they accept online check-ins.
2. In spite of taking an appointment, I had to wait for more than 1 hour.
But otherwise, no issues.

Dr. Dang was very thorough. He took his time to really evaluate my condition and got to the bottom of my issues. A few basic adjustments of my meds and I feel MUCH better. Will reccomend.
