Dr Bishoy was a very good listener. He was very aware of what my issues are and clearly addressed the mental problems that I might have. He also prescribed me medications to help with my mental health which is what I needed from him. It was a great experience.

Dr. Michael is truly wonderful. As a psychiatrist, he is intelligent, decisive, and patient-focused. As a person, he is warm, empathetic, and friendly. Dr. Michael is very easy to talk to, and he always listens with no judgment whatsoever. He’s willing to work with me to find the treatment that really works for me personally. He’s helped me tremendously, and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of any sort of mental help.

Dr. Bishoy Michael is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and member of the American Psychiatric Association and Maryland Psychiatric Society with extensive experience treating various mental health diagnoses and conditions. He also sits on the board of directors for National Alliance on Mental Illness of Anne Arundel County.
Dr. Michael received his Medical Degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten with Academic Honors. He then completed his General Psychiatry Residency in Miami, Florida, where he was Chief Resident of one of the largest psychiatry training programs in the county. Dr. Michael is licensed to practice in Maryland, Florida, New York, and California.
He has treated a wide range of chronic and acute mental illnesses, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. He has a passion for mental health and strives to empower his patients through knowledge. Psychiatry is a partnership and he deeply believes a teamwork approach leads to the best outcomes.

This man acted belligerent with me and told me to ask for a refund using my attorney after he offered a refund. He refused to honor our agreement to mark me as sane when he initially took me on under the presumption to do so.

Dr. Michael is the best psychiatrist I have seen. It can be a bit scary seeing a new doctor for the first time after a big move, but he was willing to listen to my concerns and make great clinical judgements to start/stop various medications until we found something that worked perfect for me. He is very personable, and I have already recommended many of my friends to see him. I appreciate all of the help!

I honestly think he is one of the best Psychiatrists I've ever seen. He's thorough and takes his time to get to know you and your issues before changing or doing anything drastic. He took the time to explain a lot more to me than any other doctor, so now I really understand my diagnosis better and it makes sense. I would recommend him to everyone, as long as he still have space for me in his schedule. Seriously a great, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor, that makes me feel comfortable. Best doctor I've been to in a very long time.
