Blanche obtained her associate degree in nursing from Montgomery College in 2012. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2017 and completed her Doctor of Family Nursing Practice in 2024 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Nursing.
Her nursing career spans work with adult populations suffering from acute and chronic conditions in medical-surgical and acute rehabilitation settings. Her experience includes managing neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injuries.
Blanche has been an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland (NPAM) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) since 2023. As a member of NPAM, Blanche promotes the high standards of health care delivered by nurse practitioners and represents their interests to local, state, and federal government entities.
Blanche’s dedication to providing quality care is evident in her successful implementation and dissemination of a quality improvement project in a hospital setting.
Outside of work, Blanche enjoys spending time with her family, reading fantasy and science fiction novels, watching movies, and traveling.

I booked this appointment because on Zocdoc they said they did "IUD Insertions." Well, turns out they don't! They sent me about 6 automated texts reminding me of my appointment, with 3 asking me to confirm my appointment, which I did the first time. I also received two calls about my upcoming appointment - one pre-recorded and one live, to make sure I confirmed the appointment (which again, I already did multiple times.) Never during any of these check-ins did they seem to check what I was coming in for, as everyone in the office seems to know they don't do. Also, there was no one at the front desk to check me in for the first 10 minutes and then they asked me to write my social security number on a random post-it note, which they kept.
Dr. Mayo was kind and relatively thorough and regretful that she couldn't provide me with the services I needed, but again - why is she listed as someone who can do this procedure? An hour of my life wasted! Extremely frustrating.
