Dr. Breaunnah Bloomer Jackson is a board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist who earned her undergraduate degree from Howard University and a master’s in biological sciences from Mississippi College. She completed medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport, followed by a general psychiatry residency and child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship at LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans, where she served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Breaunnah Bloomer Jackson creates a welcoming, supportive space for children, adolescents, and their families. She takes a compassionate and collaborative approach to care, focusing on medication management while integrating supportive therapy, brief cognitive techniques, parent guidance, psychoeducation, and motivational strategies. She canceled my appointment with no warning and the only way I knew was because I called asking why my doctor didn’t show up to my appointment and they said that the doctor canceled my appointment. When I asked why no one told me they didn’t answer they just said “she had her reasons.”
