Getting to know Patty Sullivan

Welcome to House of Transformation Therapy Services LLC! You may ask, why House of Transformation? After years in the IT world, I transitioned into the addictions and mental health field following a calling from my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in my middle age. My acceptance of Jesus Christ began my internal transformation-a daily process of being renewed-which led me to a purpose: to help heal those who are suffering. This transformation sparked my personal journey of healing from domestic violence, various types of abuse, drug addiction, and much more. Through this journey, I learned that the Lord uses our suffering for eternal gain. You may find yourself at a similar crossroads-struggling with chemical addiction; domestic violence or abuse; trauma or PTSD; anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, or personality disorders; interpersonal relationship issues; or challenges transitioning into adulthood from 18 to 21 years old, such as financial concerns, career decisions, relationships, moving out, or discovering your identity. Perhaps you're a parent unsure about your parenting skills or facing a child with behavioral or emotional challenges. You've come to the right place! Healing begins within us-the desire to be transformed, to be happier, more whole, and more fulfilled, so you experience less suffering and thrive rather than merely survive day by day. The key to healing is change within, and I will guide, encourage, and support you on this journey at your own pace, drawing on over 13 years of clinical experience and my Master's in Mental Health Professional Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Together, we will set goals through our conversations and develop an action plan to aid in your healing, growth, and thriving.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You will take away from each session an increased level of hope, insight, knowledge, understanding, self-awareness, knowing you have someone that supports your mental health, an increased level of trust and felt safety, and various skills to apply between sessions to address different areas of interpersonal relationships, improved emotional regulation, and resources and referrals as needed.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
