He received his Bachelor's Degree from Emory University and his MD from St. George's University School of Medicine. Dr. Kessler completed his medical internship in General Surgery at Easton Hospital, in Easton, Pennsylvania. His residency in General Surgery was accomplished at Lincoln Hospital Medical Center, a Level One Trauma Center in the Bronx.
