Dr. Machler completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Fairfield University in Connecticut where he graduated Cum Laude in 1987. He went on to obtain his medical doctorate from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ in 1991 where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society. Dr. Machler completed his internship in Internal Medicine in Connecticut at Yale-New Haven Hospital and his residency training in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery in Florida at The University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Machler has been the Section Head of Dermatology at St. Barnabas Medical Center, in Livingston, NJ, since 2003 where he provides resident teaching and inpatient dermatologic care.
