Dr. Novick is Past-President of the New York State Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the Long Island Allergy and Asthma Society. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, as well as the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
Dr. Novick completed his training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served for over 25 years as an Assistant Clinical Professor. He has published numerous articles in the field of Allergy and Immunology, and is a recognized authority in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic disorders.
Board-certified Allergists/Immunologists specialize in treating children and adults with a wide range of disorders, including asthma, food allergies, sinus problems, recurrent infections, eczema and hives.
When you are evaluated at the office, you receive a comprehensive consultation, exam, and often complete skin testing. People mistakenly think that going to an allergist automatically means you need allergy shots. This is far from the case. Allergists take a very careful history to try to figure out the cause of your symptoms. We are always in contact with your own doctor regarding your progress and ongoing treatment.
