Shane Courtney is a NCCPA-certified Physician Associate licensed in both New Jersey and New York. He received his Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY.

I showed up early for my appointment since I was a new patient and thought I'd have to fill out some paperwork, which was true, but they still had me in the exam room before my appointment was even supposed to start! So fast and nice. The nurse and doc were very attentive and listened to me. Doctor Shane walked me through his thought process and explained everything, but was still open to discussion. Not the annoying "my way or the highway" approach that some doctors tend to have. 10/10 experience.

I could only put one thing down on the website that I wanted to get checked out, but came in with a long list and Dr. Courtney listened to everything I had to say and took the time to explain everything and take care of my long list. He explained how he was treating everything, and what I would feel. Cannot recommend him enough!!

Shane has shown to be a courteous, straightforward, and thorough practitioner. He addresses all of my concerns and doesn't brush off my worries. He gives me the treatment options and his opinions, but ultimately he leaves the final decision up to me on how we proceed. He has very good bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable to communicate. Absolutely recommend him!!

I suffer from Alopecia Areata and Dr Shane is the first professional that has helped me to maintain it. Anyone who has this may understand the hopeless feelings when it occurs, but Dr Shane has provided me resources to help mitigate the totality of episodes when they occur, and they have been successful for me on multiple occasions over the last 4 years. He is up to date on the most modern treatments, and has taken my concerns seriously since my first appointment (which in the past were dismissed by other practices/ professionals and was told there is nothing that can be done). I would recommend him to anyone especially those that experience Alopecia Areata
