A committment to the total health of his patients is the guiding mission for the practice of Dr. Mutter. He sees his role as combining scientific knowledge with compassionate guidance to assist his patients in achieving optimum health. He believes in practicing preventive medicine - the best way to treat a disease is to keep it from ever happening. Originally, Dr. Mutter had intended it to pursue a career in engineering. He changed his mind and decided to go into medicine, which has allowed him to use his scientific training to directly benefit people. He feels that being a physician has been a rewarding profession, which he still loves after 25 years.
