Dr. Cheyne was born and raised in Saint Anthony, a small town in eastern Idaho. He earned a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from The College of Idaho and worked at a developmental disability agency before attending medical school. He received his medical degree and master’s in public health from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wanting to receive superb training while remaining close to the mountains, he completed residency training at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

When he is not at work, Dr. Cheyne enjoys traveling, reading, writing and enjoying the amazing Colorado outdoors.

Dr. Cheyne is a great physician - very knowledgeable, comfortable and easygoing. He remembered me well from our visit over a year ago, which says a lot as I'm sure he has a huge number of patients. Highly recommended to anybody who is on edge or nervous going into a doctor's office!

I was looking for a new primary care doctor in the Denver Area and found Dr. Cheyne on Zoc Doc. His office took my insurance and was able to book an appointment within the week! I was temperature scanned before I went into the office and the seating was spaced out to COVID guidelines. The entire process felt very clean and safe. I was seen right away and Dr. Cheyne is great! A young, professional doctor, Dr. Cheyne was a patient listener and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Plus, he is an intelligent and super nice guy! Got my blood test results back within a few hours, the whole process was quick and easy. Dr. Cheyne is also very quick to respond through his office health portal, which is great when you have questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend! I am happy to have found my primary care doctor in Denver.

Incredibly professional and thoughtful. He addressed any and all concerns I had about my overall health. Dr. Cheney was also very prompt in his responsiveness via the messaging platform. I had a question about one of my results and he got back to me same day.

I loved that they were on time with my visit! And Dr. Cheyne took great care in listening to my health needs. I've had doctors rush through or designated a PA, so it was great to see him. There was some miscommunication between front desk and back folks (which room to put me in, which doctor I was seeing, whether my nickname or legal name should be on the forms) but it wasn't anything vital.
