I had a seamless first time visit with Dr. Yang for my annual physical. I had no wait time at all (didn't even sit down in the waiting room) once I arrived for my appointment. The medical assistant was professional with my initial medical evaluation (blood pressure, weight, temp, etc.) and Dr. Yang came in shortly after. He had great bedside manner and was open to any questions or comments I had. After, they helped me set up a virtual follow up appointment to discuss my test results which is fantastic. It's great that more offices are adopting virtual visits in order to provide patients with more flexibility in their scheduling. Highly recommend.

Dr. Yang is an award-winning wound care and internal medicine specialist who served as System Medical Director of Wound and Hyperbarics at Good Samaritan Hospital, St. Anthony Community Hospital and Bon Secours Community Hospital in the state of New York from 2012 to 2016. Dr. Yang also served as Medical Director at the St. Joseph Nursing Home in Maine.
Dr. Yang received wound care and hyperbaric medicine fellowship training at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Prior to his fellowship training, he completed internal medicine residency training at the Mount Vernon Hospital, where he also received wound care training under the renowned wound care specialist Dr. Jorge Beale. Dr. Yang's received two years of surgical and clinical pathology training at the Westchester Medical Center before he started his internal medicine training.
Dr. Yang is a frequent speaker at local and national wound care meetings. He is a winner of the 2007 Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society President Award (second place) for research in stem cells in hyperbaric oxygen, and has received the Blue Ribbon Awards five times from Northern Maine Medical Center for highest quality in chronic disease management in internal medicine.
