Dr. Caitlin Anderson graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota Medical School. and completed her residency at New York Hospital of Queens Medical Center. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and has over 15 years of clinical experience.
Dr. Anderson feels that medicine should be approached from a multi-factorial perspective with patients and providers working as a team and discussing care options together. This makes her a perfect team member to work with. She is a physician who is passionate about patient care. She uses her professional experience to help with treatment options but is also a strong supporter of scientific research and evidence-based medicine. Dr. Anderson enjoys talking with her patients and building a healthy provider-patient relationship which she believes helps foster assurance and respect.
She treats a spectrum of medical conditions such as urinary tract infections, arthritis, sinus problems, heartburn, vitamin B 12 deficiency, anxiety, depression, ADD, sexually transmitted diseases, hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
Dr. Anderson currently works at New York Presbyterian and has worked at several private care centers in New York.
When she’s not working, she enjoys running, biking, hiking, and reading. She also loves traveling. She credits having lived abroad as a child with her appreciation for diverse cultures.
