I went to this doctor based on the reviews, after struggling with chronic pain for over 2 years I thought a new doctor with fresh eyes would be helpful. After explaining all I had been through, Dr. Avila shrugged her shoulders and said she couldn't think of anything else that would be helpful and suggested some OTC meds. I understand that doctors' time is limited but her unwillingness to consider that I had a real issue was very frustrating. Low and behold a few months later I had multiple endometriosis adhesions removed, diagnosed by another doctor.

This was by far the best doctor’s appointment I’ve ever been to. Dr. Avila was warm and likeable, and most importantly, she really listened to me and talked me through the issues I was dealing with. She was thorough and sincere, and I felt like she really cared about me, despite this being my first appointment.
