Candilla Mckail, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to holistic, compassionate care. Born in Queens and raised in South Florida, she was inspired early on by the healthcare professionals in her family and the diversity of her community, shaping her culturally sensitive approach to treatment.
Candilla earned her BSN from the University of Florida and her MSN from the University of South Florida as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She later completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Alabama and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice.
Her personal experiences with trauma and grief sparked her passion for mental health, further deepened during the COVID-19 pandemic when she felt compelled to support those in need. Candilla integrates her background in both physical and mental health to provide personalized, wellness-focused care that empowers clients on their healing journey.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and spending time with her husband and four children.
