This is an amazingly thoughtful local practice. There is deep care and attention given to create a holistic human experience regarding health. I've never had a health appointment where I felt so comfortable and at ease in the environment. I highly recommend this practice.

Carina has excellent beside manners and makes you feel at home in her super clean and cute space. During all of my visits, Carina was very patient and made sure to address any questions or concerns I had thoroughly. She also went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything that she was doing during my exam. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful gynecologist who is really going to take the time with you that you deserve!

Carina Ryder, CNM , MS provided me with a caring, respectful and thurough wellness visit including physical exam and labwork. She really treats the whole person by asking a lot of questions and doing a lot of listening before continuing with the rest of the exam. Her office is extremely comfortable and convenient. I highly recommend her services.

Carina Ryder is by far the best gynecologist I have ever seen. Unlike so many doctors in any specialty area, she treats the whole person.
She takes time to get to know her patients, is easy to talk to, and is happy do discuss life events that might impact health and well being. She is especially knowledgeable about menopause. Her office is welcoming and her exam room is set up like a cozy bedroom. She does everything possible to provide a comfortable atmosphere. I wish more doctors were like Carina.

Carina Ryder, Takoma Park Gynecology, was recommended to me by a close friend after I shared some challenges I was having. After having my appointment, I was so thankful to my friend!
The setting is warm and comfortable and immediately put me at ease. The consultation was unlike any Doctor appointment of my past 30 years. I was able to share both the mundane and very intimate issues and got the attention and answers I needed as well as guidance for things I had given up on a long time ago.
Carina is so knowledgeable yet shares her expertise as a trusted advisor, who listens and answers questions without judgment. And when she didn't know the answers to some of my obscure questions, she immediately tried to obtain them.
I highly recommend Carina and Takoma Park Gynecology!

Carina was extremely attentive and took time to get to know both my medical history and current needs. She was extremely respectful of my preferences and I felt heard. In addition to GYN stuff, she was proactive in ordering lab testing for me because I don't have a primary care doctor. After the visit, she followed up and went over my test results with me. AND the visit ended with a goody bag containing samples and helpful information - always a fun plus.
