A native of Argentina, he completed his undergraduate and medical studies at Buenos Aires University School of Medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is also where he completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
After 10 years in private practice in Argentina, he decided to follow his dream of moving to the United States where he completed medical requirements (ECFMG) Certification. He also completed his post graduate training with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including Robotic Surgery at Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey.
Dr. Barrionuevo has extensive experience practicing all aspects of gynecological and Obstetrical care including minimal invasive surgery and high risk pregnancy. Dr. Barrionuevo is a dedicated professional treating patients with a compassionate care willing to listen to his patients concerns to provide a thorough evaluation and treatment.

Dr Barrionuevo is absolutely amazing! His staff is extremely welcoming. Very knowledgeable doctor and listens to you and guides you. I can't begin to tell you how relieved we are to have found the perfect doctor to deliver our baby. The office is extremely bright and welcoming.
